Arbor Terrace is a LEED-certified, hospitality-driven Assisted Living community with a Memory-Care component. The design objective of this project was focused on quality of life and wellness rather than the sometimes dry, clinical nature of traditional healthcare. Arbor Terrace incorporates contemporary design details, natural materials, and clean finishes to deliver the welcoming experience of a boutique hotel.

Intentionally designed to help combat the loneliness and isolation seniors often feel, we created walkable connections to the adjacent Maple Lawn Town Center, another BCT project, containing restaurants, retail, and an anchor grocer. Oversized windows, a modern porte-cochere, and arcades also bring the outdoors directly to residents. Amenities including a whiskey bar, salon, library, PT/fitness room, movie theater, lounge areas, and multi-purpose rooms were created to encourage residents to interact with one another while on the property.

The priority given to design, amenities, and programming combines to create an engaging home for residents, peace of mind for their families, and delivers on the core values of the project's developer, Capitol Seniors Housing.
